Being the amazing country that it is, Sweden has taken "social distancing" up a notch.

As it turns out, a team of Swedish hospitality professionals have come together to create an island escape at the “Pater Noster Lighthouse” (which is in Sweden’s rugged western coast).

The group has converted what was once the home of caretaker on a tiny island into a boutique hotel complex, which includes a restaurant and bar, and accommodate up to 18 guests(qccess to the island is possible via a RIB boat or a helicopter from the island of Marstrand or Gothenburg).

From far away, the property looks like a collection of small red buildings on an island surrounded by treacherous waves. But inside those buildings, users can find hardwood floors, elaborate wallpaper, and furniture meant for lounging with an epic view as their backdrop.

If you don´t feel like renting the WHOLE island (which is an option). Stays include breakfast, guided island tours, lighthouse visits, the chance to fish for your own dinner, and access to hot tubs filled with warm seawater (FYI: Cars are prohibited, making the island a paradise for walkers and bikers).

Are you up for it?
